Rear Admiral Anthony R. Maness, Naval Academy class of 1962, Commanding Officer VP-6 June 1978 to June 1979 and former Commander, Anti-Submarine Warfare Force, US Pacific Fleet, passed away on May 7th 2003 in Los Altos, CA. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
