Mark was my Patrol Plane Commander.  I had the honor and pleasure of knowing, flying and serving with the most talented junior officer pilot in my two year squadron tour.

I am saddened by the sudden passing of Mark and my and the whole VP-6 Blue Shark Family’s love, prayers and condolences go out to Ann and their kids.

Mark represented the best in us in VP-6 during those squadron years, where he touched the lives of all the officers and enlisted with whom he worked, flew, led
and played.

Mark’s life, passion, professionalism and friendship will continue to touch each of us.

Mark Dold, you are the “Best of the Best”!!!
